This set of jewellery was made with some inherited gemstones including Aquamarines and Garnets. The client chose the designs she liked and it was a lovey project to repurpose these gemstones to give them a new lease of life!
This was an enjoyable commission to make - a special birthday gift. Although my first love is silver, 18ct gold is lovely to work with and this stacking ring looks great with their existing rings.
I was asked to make this unusual crescent moon and star pendant for Holly Race whose first YA book was launched this month. Without the usual celebrations being possible this necklace, which is described in the book Midnight Twins, was presented to her via zoom!
In these difficult times it's been nice to be able to carry on working and make some special peices such as these for an 18th birthday gift. The pendant is made of silver, yellow gold and red gold and the earrings are set with some pretty aquamarines.
It's such a shame that significant occasions are not going to be able to be celebrated as hoped for at the moment. This silver pendant set with a vibrant green chrysoprase cabochon pendant is for a 18th birthday - hopefully it brings a little joy on the special day.
A special commission to make - these three rose gold rings were remodelled from the client's parents 14k rose gold wedding rings. A ring for each of their daughters to wear and pass on in the family.
Hoping Spring is on it's way and these new pieces of jewellery have some lovely watery Aquamarine gemstones set in silver.
This pair of wedding bands will be winging their way off to South Africa for the big day! They are both textured; one is 14k gold to match the engagement ring and the other is oxidised silver. A nice alternative design of wedding rings.
This montage is of some of the bespoke pieces of jewelelry made for Christmas gifts - thanks for so much for your support. It's been a great year of making - looking forward to getting back in the studio - new projects and designs to work on. Best wishes for a peaceful 2020. Birgitte
