This set of gold wedding and diamond engagement rings were made by re-using some unworn but sentimental gold and diamond jewellery. The client sent me a lovely message which I've added to my testimonial page.
Mobius rings are a favourite of mine to make. This one reused an unworn gold ring in combination with silver - a nice combination which also works well as an eternity ring. Th eman's silver ring replaced a lost ring that had been worn for many years.
The nice thing about buying a handmade piece of jewellery is that your preferences for size and length of chain can be easily accommodated, Do ask if you would like a variation on any piece of jewellery. This gold and silver pendant was requested on a 34" long silver chain.
I recently made this contemporary sapphire ring, remodelling an heirloom ring. The gold ring had belonged to the client's mother, but wasn't a style of ring that she would wear, so we discussed designs and this was the result. I also made a small pair of studs with the diamonds but forgot to photograph them!
I'm happy to discuss remodelling old, unworn jewellery either in person at my studio - with appropriate safety measures in place, or via email or phone.
These diamonds were in an unworn piece of jewellery - the client prefers silver and was happy with this new set of stacking rings.
This set of gold and silver rings were a commission to replace a lost wedding ring and incorporate an engagement ring, which no longer fitted, into a new pair of rings. The diamond and gold were remodelled to more contemporary stacking rings and the gold sets off the deep purple of the amethyst.
This set of jewellery was made with some inherited gemstones including Aquamarines and Garnets. The client chose the designs she liked and it was a lovey project to repurpose these gemstones to give them a new lease of life!
This was an enjoyable commission to make - a special birthday gift. Although my first love is silver, 18ct gold is lovely to work with and this stacking ring looks great with their existing rings.
I was asked to make this unusual crescent moon and star pendant for Holly Race whose first YA book was launched this month. Without the usual celebrations being possible this necklace, which is described in the book Midnight Twins, was presented to her via zoom!
In these difficult times it's been nice to be able to carry on working and make some special peices such as these for an 18th birthday gift. The pendant is made of silver, yellow gold and red gold and the earrings are set with some pretty aquamarines.
